    For any type of pneumatic gauge, the scale chosen by the engineer or operator is very critical and will affect the accuracy of its entire pneumatic measurement system. In short, a calibration gauge is a physical standard for the calibration of a pneumatic measurement system or any related measurement system. To ensure its accuracy, the actual size of the gauge is usually verified by an ultra-precise comparator using a certified high-grade gauge block.
    A single gauge system uses only a single gauge to scale a gauge amplifier or display, which is used to indicate the zero position of the nominal size or tolerance value of the workpiece. For dual-gauge systems, the maximum and minimum dimensions of workpiece tolerances can be calibrated by two gauges respectively. However, for the single gauge system, there is no corresponding gauge to compare the measurement outside the workpiece tolerance zone. In this way, the operator must rely on the straightness of the display, which can accurately translate the difference between the actual dimensions into a positively determined reading. If the single calibration system is used, once the straightness of the display is deviated, it will produce incorrect measurement values, which is especially easy to occur in the machining of the workpiece near the edge of the tolerance zone. If the display does not convert the back pressure value into an accurate reading, the best pneumatic measurement system will not be able to accurately display the size of the workpiece.

    Therefore, a good pneumatic measurement system lies in whether it has a double calibration system.
