──Jul 11 , 2023Do you know the principle of pneumatic measurement with aerometer?

The principle of pneumatic measurement is based on a physical law: the flow rate and pressure of a gas have a direct proportional relationship with the size of the gap through it, and the flow rate is inversely proportional to the pressure, that is, when the gap increases, the gas flow rate also increases proportionally, while the gas pressure decreases proportionally. When the gap decreases, the flow rate and pressure of the gas also decrease and increase proportionally.

This principle can be achieved by passing the adjusted air flow through some type of throttle (such as a needle valve or a gem hole) and then ejection through the nozzle of the gas meter. When the obstruction (workpiece under test) is near the nozzle, the gas flow rate decreases and the back pressure increases. When the nozzle is completely blocked, the gas flow is zero, and the back pressure is equal to the pressure of the set gas. In contrast, when the nozzle is exposed to the atmosphere without any obstructions in front of it, the gas flow rate is maximum and the back pressure is minimum.
